This wine is made of 100% Syrah from 'friends' vineyards situated between Cornas and the RhĂ´ne river. The grapes are whole cluster, and aged in cement, before a 2 month passage in foudre to soften up even more before bottling. Basically declassified Cornas from its most renowned producer. Lighter and more fruit-forward than its higher-ranking cousin, but still lovely Northern RhĂ´ne Syrah. Pair it with juicy homemade burgers on the cast iron, ideally with a 70/30 ratio of meat to fat.
