This Champagne is made from 50% Pinot Blanc, 45% Petit Meslier, and 5% Arbanne. In 2010, Etienne replanted these "forgotten" Champagne varieties in one of his family's vineyards in the Côte de Sézanne. His goal was to revive the varieties and make an old fashioned or, 'à l'ancienne' wine. This is a seriously unique and delicious wine. It is aged for 30 months under cork before disgorgement, giving it a pleasant roundness under all that mouthwatering acidity. It is a mouthful of deliciousness.
