This wine is made from 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Meunier. It translates literally to "the key of the seven acres." Laurent and Michelle Bénard-Pitois farm organically in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and really make delicious, full, textured expressions of Champagne. This one has notes of white peach, lemon curd, toasted bread, and a long minerally finish.
