The Story
This wine is made of 100% Cencibel, a local clone of Tempranillo. This wine is carbonically macerated in amphora, resulting in a bright, floral, and juicy wine. Enjoy this with your favorite pizza or a cheesesteak. Three friends came together to form Más Que Vinos in the Rioja, and have chosen the Cencibel clone of Tempranillo as it is suited for the harsh weather of the area. One of the friends, Gonzalo Rodriguez, restored his old family winery, and began farming organically while restoring plots of indigenous grape varietals.
