The Story
This wine is made from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella. The grapes are grown on hillside terraces extending up to 600 meters above sea level, consisting of acidic clay-loam soils. After a short maceration on its skins, the wine is passed onto stainless steel and French Oak barrels. Then, after three months settling in bottle, it comes to market. It has a fresh and fruity bouquet of cherry, blackberry, and black pepper, and light bodied on the palate with smooth soft tannins. Pair it with a rigatoni bolognese or OG Kristal gouda.
