This wine is made from 100% Vernaccia, from organically farmed vines in San Gimignano on sandy clay and gravel soils. We would pair it with tinned fish, crusty sourdough bread, and a few semi-soft cheeses. Farmed organically. After a light pressing, the stems and remaining grapes macerate in the juice for 10 days, and the wine is then is aged for 8 months in concrete, bottled without fining or filtering. It is classified as a Vino da Tavola, with Garnaccia being a historical local name for the grape Vernaccia.
