Mylonas Retsina, N/V

This wine is made of 100% Savatiano. Retsina is an ancient Greek style of wine, that takes on a resinous pine flavor, in addition to being an acidic dry white wine. It's resinous flavor is based in tradition, where winemakers practiced sealing their vessels with Aleppo Pine resin for preservation. It is a unique and flavorful wine, with notes of yellow peach, mint, pine, and white flowers, and goes well with fried seafood appetizers, sushi, or a ceasar salad with anchovies.
