The Story
This wine is made from 100% Sangiovese. The historic San Guglielmo vineyard used to provide fruit for various wines in Montalcino, until the inaugural 2016 vintage, when winemakers Mike and Illaria -granddaughter of THE Guglielmo, and one of the only woman winemakers in Montalcino- started producing wines under their own label. The vineyards consist of younger Sangiovese vines, situated at a higher altitude than others, and the Rosso is vinified in tank, leading to a very fresh and juicy wine. Pair it with tagliatelle al ragĂą.
