The Story
This wine is made of 55% Barbera, 35% Freisa, and 10% Sangiovese. "Vino da Sete", or, like the French say, "vin de soif", translates to "wine of thirst". As the name alludes, this is a crushable, chillable, refreshing red. The wine boasts pleasantly light aromatics and fresh flavors of crunchy red berries. We would pair this with homemade pizza topped with ricotta, prosciutto, arugula and fig jam.
