This wine is a Viennese field blend of 6 different grapes: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay, and Gewürztraminer. Gemischter Satz means "mixed set", and is a traditional blend of grapes that are grown within Vienna's city limits. The grapes are hand harvested and aged for six months in stainless steel tanks. The wine is a combination of crispness, acidity, texture, and floral aromatics that really make it a great option to pair with lots of food. We would pair it with a Wonton Soup loaded with Black Summer bok choy.
